April May Call Data
April call numbers were up in March which was significant were April was a short month containing Easter and ANZAC Day. It demonstrates that Advertising is working. May is usually a strong month however May 23 calls were slightly lower but still the second highest for the Year.
Website Update
The new Website is under construction and nearly ready to be released.
Beneficial to keeping up with the times a lot of planning has gone into the platform design to be able to cater for Marketplace opportunities as they become available. We are putting the hard work in now so that these may be switched on rather than having to re-design the platform each time an opportunity arises. The look will be smooth and modern and a welcome upgrade from the old, dated landing page we used to have.
Purple Pages Front Page
Once again we have secured our position on the first page of the Capricorn Purple Pages Directory. Although not cheap, this position has been sought after for many years by larger National Aftermarket Groups. Our commitment to Capricorn over the years has been rewarded with the first refusal of the front page of each edition. Our brand and our Dealers are the first advertising that Capricorn Members see when the new edition arrives.
New Member

New Brochure Design
Ahmet has resized and redesigned our Brochure so that we can send them out to every new Capricorn Member as they join. The Capricorn area representatives are currently handing them out on our behalf. The new Brochure folds into a standing card that will sit on a desktop.
Sparks Magazine
We have signed up to advertise in Sparks Magazine for 12 Months. With a readership of Victorian / Tasmanian Capricorn Membership Sparks magazine is an excellent opportunity to increase exposure to Capricorn Members and direct more phone calls to your phone rooms and increase Part Sales.
Rep Meeting and Capricorn Convention Planning
Before we know it, it will be November again, and time for the Melbourne Capricorn Trade Show and Convention. Planning for this year’s stand will be beginning soon. We will also be organizing a meeting with all our Dealer’s Parts Reps to meet and exchange cards etc. so if they get a lead or see an opportunity for another Member’s brand, they can make contact and pass on the lead.
